Aunt Geri comes to Town!

We’ve been really lucky to have so much family come to visit!

Next: Aunt Geri stopped by for a few days. We played and ate and walked and talked and Ella provided lots of laughs. Ella also told me that Geri came just for her, just like everyone else that comes to visit, so she wasn’t willing to share Geri all that much. One my favorite things was when Ella told Geri she sounded like “Oma” (my mom), and it’s true they both sound very alike, especially on the phone.

We took Geri to the Columbine Memorial, the Temple, the mall and had fun just driving around.

Then it was bubble time! And after that I happened to mention to Ella that Geri was a famous basketball player, which is very true in girl’s basketball and so Ella kept asking for “basketball lessons.”

Later Ella had her mini ballet performance.

Next day we went to Idaho Springs for Colorado Pizza and back again for yes more basketball lessons.

Steve found our stash of basketballs, I had forgotten we had so many.
