Went by in a flash: day 1

Erin came for a short visit...
We picked her up from the airport late Friday night and it was pretty funny to see her and Ella Bella. Gabriella was determined not to look at Erin but she would smile when Erin would try to talk to her. Ella Bella did start singing in the car to her Barbie music and that cracked up Erin a bit. By the time we got home Ella Bella was following her around and calling her a nickname I'm not sure if I know how to spell...something like "aaa-eeeee."
"aaa-eee, where are you?" It was very sweet.
Erin brought her some shirts, one of which she loves because Ariel is on it. She is even wearing it today.
So I guess "day 1" starts on Saturday. Steve had to work so I took the gals to Red Rocks...there was concert that night so we couldn't go all the way up and then we thought we'd try "Tiny Town." Tiny Town, was a bit of a nightmare but Erin did get some nice photos.

Then we traveled downtown for "A Taste of Colorado." Baby slept a bit and that made it easier to walk around. The festival was huge...and we were pretty tired from walking in the heat and a bit claustrophobic from all the "humans" packed in.

That night Steve took us to the Mills and we did some shopping.

Later that night we (Erin and I) stayed up late talking and watching movies.

A really good movie...

When Erin came out she brought with her a few movies. I don't get out too much and I knew I had missed out on this one.
"A modern romantic tale about a young aristocratic heiress born under a curse that can only be broken when she finds true love with "one who will love her faithfully."

I loved Penelope's room and wardrobe and I especially liked the movie.

I guess the point is to LOVE YOURSELF...
the rest will workout.

What was your favorite movie of the summer?

Red Rover Red Rover...

So I got Tagged twice! I figured I'd finally do it, so here it is...ta da

Say Cheese

So now when I want to take a picture of Ella Bella I have to be very careful...cause if I say Cheese...she does this...

and this...

got ya!

The only other exciting thing was this...

It rained so hard last week that it pushed its way through the roof and the drywall.
I came home from chaperoning the "Best of EFY" dance to find dripping coming from Ella Bella's ceiling. Oh well, I guess it's time for a new roof?
Then I tried to put up her curtain rods and this is what happened...

The current blinds ripped from the window frame (I think). Anyway I had a mess to clean up.

Sorry baby, we will get your room fixed, really, someday, soon...

A little obsessed...I don't think so.

So, I thought I'd share a little of what I've been doing in my free time.

I'm sure Alane had no idea she created a monster when she taught me how to make these.
My sister is one of those very talented, crafty, artsy, cool people...so she started an Etsy store.

I thought I could help contribute so I did the only thing I could...

I had a bunch of felt and fabric left over from previous projects and jumped on the Twilight bandwagon.

I'm not sure if anyone will really buy anything, but hey, if not I know lots of Twilight fans that might like one.
UPDATE! I sold 2 Pokemon stockings...so cool!

So here is my sister's etsy store:

"Happydancedesigns"
and speaking of Twilight, I have a good friend from college in Utah that sells these shirts. I personally like the "Sparkles" one.

Have a great day!

Can you guess which one is me?

Me, going on a plane, by myself?

That's right, my first trip without the baby or Steve...I missed them terribly...but I did have Breaking Dawn to read. That made up for some if it.

Last weekend I was able to fly out to Uncle Pete's wedding. They were sealed in the Winter Quarter's Temple.

Here are a few pictures of my adventure in Omaha, NE.

Kate and I shared a room at the "Mormon Trail Motel." We killed bugs and played Hello Kitty Uno...good times!

I was happy to represent the Majakey clan.

More about Pete at www.petegrigsby.com

After the wedding everyone went to the Olive Garden to eat...then I was finally able to check out downtown and check into my room.

Loved my Marriott Room and loved my huge dinner...no way I could even eat half!

For my mom: OMA

Back where I belong:

July wouldn't be complete without...

YW Girls Camp!
Yep, I finally went to Girls Camp for the first time ever in my life and got to hang out for a whole DAY!
It was really fun and it rained a few times.

Here I am with Sister Miller, and Becca...

The gals were so fun and it looked like they had a blast...just don't ask them about the "Boy Scout" incident.

July also wouldn't be complete without...Weddings!
One of our favorite people got married...Congrats Amberlyn

So far behind....

I am so far behind...The month of July went by so fast for us.

I'll try to do a bit of a recap...

July 4th: Fun at the park!

Silly girls on the 4th of July!

We were also very lucky to have our Florida friends come to visit. While I was at work, Steve and Gabriella took Laura and James to Mt. Evans. Apparently it was a very interesting experience and Steve will probably never ever take me there. But, I'm not too upset about it, I am extremely afraid of high places and Mt. Evans is pretty high...so I've heard.

There are some great pic of Steve and Ella Bella on the mountain (when I find them I'll post them up)

Then we had Gabriella's birthday...then we finally got a few pictures made of her in her Birthday dress and outfit...

I've only been able to get a few of the pictures out in the mail...but don't worry I'll be mailing out the rest later this week.

This. Just. Happened.

So I gave her the mic, put on the Barbie singalong, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Sorry for so many videos...I was using the digital camera, which can only do 30 seconds at a time.
